On September 10, 2018, U.S. News and World Report published their 'Nation's Best Universities' rankings, featuring Howard University at #89 -- a 21 spot jump from the previous year's rankings. Additionally Howard University ranked #2 on the 'Top 10 List of Best HBCUs' and rose two spots in the 'Best Value Schools' category.
